“Red Alert” follows rural midwife Janet Taruc as she delivers basic health services to far-flung communities in Barangay Lucapon, Sta. Cruz, Zambales. Taruc first visits Sitio Pine Tree, where she vaccinated children and deliver other basic health services. She also shares how she ended up being a rural midwife and explains why she decided to take up Bachelor of Science in Midwifery despite her decades of experience in the field. Taruc then explains why she continues to help far-flung communities like Sitio Acoje. Later, she shares why she decided to support the education of a young girl from the community.
