Indian Air Force inducts 4 heavy-lift Chinook helicopters . The Indian Air Force (IAF) on Monday formally inducted the first unit of four heavy-lift Chinook helicopters in Chandigarh. Air Chief Marshal BS Dhanoa announced the induction at a ceremony and said the helicopters are national assets.

भारतीय वायुसेना के बेड़े में शामिल हुआ 'चिनूक', पाकिस्तान सीमा पर होगा तैनात | करीब 11 हजार किलो तक के हथियार और सैनिकों को आसानी से उठाने में सक्षम, साथ ही ऊंचाइयों पर भी उड़ान भरने वाला अत्याधुनिक चिनूक हेलिकॉप्टर आज औपचारिक रूप से भारतीय सेना को मिल जाएगा. इसे पाकिस्तानी सीमा पर वायुसेना को और अधिक ताकतवर बनाने में इस्तेमाल किया जाएगा.
