“Tapatan Ni Tunying” goes to Baseco Compound in Manila to take a look at how residents there make a living by peeling garlic. The program also features a foundation that helps manage the garlic peels polluting Pasig River and Manila Bay. “Tapatan Ni Tunying” then follows paper maker Daday Galit as she and her group of volunteers collect water lilies clogging the river. Later, the program features the efforts of the LGU with the help of local communities to rehabilitate Pasig River and Manila Bay.
