Pakistan Condemns Acquittal of Samjhauta Accused; Urges International Community to Call on India

Pakistan is once again trying to create a crack in Indian unity by raking up the issue of ‘terrorism in India’. Pakistan has termed the acquittal of Samjhauta Blast Case Aseemanand, Lokesh Sharma, Kamal Chauhan and Rajinder Chaudhary as a ‘historic injustice’. The explosion, which took place on February 18, 2007, had killed 68 people, including 10 Indians. Most of the dead were Pakistani nationals. Pak Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi tweeted Pakistan condemns the “Indian version of sham justice” which was “callously heedless” to the families of the 44 Pakistani victims.
