Tyler Perry Helps Pay for Funeral
of Slain Wisconsin Mother Tynesha Evans, a
45-year-old single
mother of four,
was gunned down
outside of a bank in
Atlanta on Saturday. The family launched
a GoFundMe page to
cover burial expenses
and other costs. Perry caught wind of the
situation and decided to help out. He offered to pay the family's rent,
fly Evans' body back to Wisconsin to be buried
and pay her 18-year-old's college tuition. According to Fox News, one of Evans' children, 14-year-
old Shakemia Turner, called Perry, "an angel on Earth." This isn't the actor and filmmaker's
first random act of kindness. Last December, he paid off over $430,000
in Walmart layaways so strangers would
have a happier holiday season.
