After Marivaux. Day 6570. The culmination of an experiment to re-create the Garden of Eden. Four teenagers locked away, never glimpsing another human face. Today they will be released. Director Emily Kempson reimagines Marivaux’s dizzyingly dark, erotic tale.
The Dispute opened at Summerhall during the Edinburgh Festival Fringe as part of Hibrow Hour: a Hibrow co-production with the BBC in partnership with Odeon Cinemas and supported by Arts Council England.
