Shortly before his death in November 2011, Ken Russell met up with Russian conductor Vasily Petrenko and old friend producer and director Don Boyd. Conversation inevitably turns to film making and music. After a meal and a fraught quick journey through the rain, Russell is escorted into the Philharmonic Hall in Liverpool for a performance of his beloved Mahler's fourth and fifth symphonies.
