⭕ Vatnajökull ● Vatnajökull ("Water Glacier") is the largest ice cap in Iceland, and one of the largest in Europe. It is located in the southeast of the island, covering more than 9% of the country. It belongs to the Vatnajökull National Forest.
⭕ Mýrdalsjökull ● Mýrdalsjökull ("Mire Dale Glacier") is an ice cap in the south of Iceland. It covers an active volcano called Katla, which usually erupts every 40-80 years. The last eruption happened in 1918.
⭕ Gullfoss ● Gullfoss ("Golden Falls") is Iceland's most well-known waterfall, located in the canyon of the Hvítá river in southwest Iceland.
