Known for his strict and firm demeanor, outgoing Deputy Inspector-general of Police Tan Sri Noor Rashid Ibrahim shed tears when he delivered his farewell speech before retiring on Friday.

Noor Rashid handed over his duty to Special Branch director Datuk Seri Abdul Hamid Bador, who will hold the post in an acting position.
