India opener Rohit Sharma on Wednesday reached yet another major milestone during the ongoing fifth and final one-day international against Australia at the Feroz Shah Kotla in Delhi.During the 22nd over of the second innings, Rohit went past the 8000-run mark in ODI cricket. The Hitman was 46 runs away from the milestone before the start of this match.

भारतीय सलामी बल्लेबाज रोहित शर्मा वनडे इंटरनेशनल क्रिकेट में 8000 रन पूरे करने वाले भारत के नौवें और दुनिया के 31वें बल्लेबाज बन गए हैं। रोहित ने ऑस्ट्रेलिया के खिलाफ बुधवार को पांचवें वनडे में 46 रन बनाते ही यह उपलब्धि हासिल की, रोहित शर्मा ने 200वीं पारी में यह आंकड़ा छुआ। विराट कोहली 175 और एबी डिविलियर्स 182 पारियों में इस मुकाम पर पहुंचे थे। सौरव गांगुली ने भी 200 पारियों में 8000 वनडे रन पूरे किए थे।
