The Thai dancers put on stunning displays showing their history and culture through the ages.
Hosted by the Culture Ministry, the festival – and part of the celebration of '137 Years of Rattanakosin under Royal Benevolence – the event is designed to fit the theme of 'Asean cultural diversity'.
Thailand has the chairmanship of Asean this year. The three day event will see performers from Asean member states, except Brunei and Singapore, plus dancers from India and China will share their unique ethnic dances on the same stage.
