Old Navy Celebrates International
Women’s Day With Skywriting Campaign Old Navy has arranged for messages of encouragement
to be written in the sky above Los Angeles and San Francisco
on March 8, and New York on March 9. The skywriting fleet will be led by
Suzanne Asbury-Oliver, the only
female professional skywriter. Jamie Gersch, Chief Marketing Officer, via statement They’ve also introduced new clothing designs and will donate
a portion of each purchase to CARE, a nonprofit organization. These donations will be made in honor of Old Navy’s
P.A.C.E. (Personal Advancement & Career Enhancement) program. P.A.C.E. invests in the women that create the company’s clothing,
and provides training programs in over 16 countries. Old Navy has always been a
supporter of empowering women. 71% of Old Navy’s leadership team is female,
as well as 79.8% of their field and headquarters employees.
