Marvel Is Casting Its
First Openly Gay Superhero Marvel Studios President
Kevin Feige has hinted that
a new LGBTQ character
might join the MCU. According to
That Hashtag Show,
Marvel has begun its
search for an openly gay actor to play the lead role
in 2020s, The Eternals. The studio is said to be
searching for an actor who
"physically looks like a
superhero," aged 30-49 . While there is no preference
over ethnicity, the studio
prefers to cast a gay actor. The film is scheduled
to begin shooting in
the UK in September.
