Prince Charles visits Royal College of Music
  • 5 years ago
Prince Charles, President of the Royal College of Music, has attended its annual awards ceremony. The Prince of Wales also visited the college's underground auditorium which is being constructed as part of a £40 million project. In the venue's first performance, his royal highness listened to Haydn's 'March for the Prince of Wales'. The piece had been composed in 1792 as a tribute to King George IV before he took the throne.
