The first day of ticket sale for the India-Australia One Day International (ODI) at JSCA’s International Sports Complex in Ranchi was marred by some unruly locals in the first half of Sunday resulting in detention of woman and her daughter by subsequent police reinforcement at the stadium.reportedly misbehaved with the security staffs deployed and created a ruckus outside the ticket counter. Policemen deployed at the spot said that the police had to intervene after he turned violent.

देश में क्रिकेट के प्रति लोगों की दिवानगी सिर चढ़कर बोलती है। इसका एक उदाहरण विकेटकीपर महेंद्र सिंह धोनी के गढ़ रांची में देखने को मिला जहां कुछ क्रिकेट प्रेमियों पर पुलिस ने लाठियां बरसाईं। आस्ट्रेलिया के खिलाफ तीसरा वनडे रांची के जेएससीए में होना है जिसकी टिकट लेने के लिए सोमवार को काफी भीड़ देखने को मिली। इस दाैरान एक महिला बिना लाइन में लगे टिकट लेने के लिए आगे बढीं। तभी वहां तैनात महिला पुलिसकर्मी ने उन्हें वहां से हटने को कहा लेकिन वह उससे लड़ने लग गई। इसके बाद पुलिस ने उस महिला को और उसकी बेटी को पीटकर थाने पहुंचाया।
