An argument turns violent as a man is hit with a baseball bat during an argument that broke out on a public bus in Bethesda, Maryland.

While both men shout obscenities at each other, including the man with a bat the other a redneck while the other insisting he isn't a redneck, the rest of the passengers can be seen to be uncomfortable and move away.

The bus subsequently went out of service as the bus driver phoned the police, where the filmer stayed behind to show the police the footage- which was shot last July (2018) and was used in a court case against the man holding the bat.

A guilty verdict was secured yesterday (March 4) at a Montgomery County Court, where a sentence of 20 days in jail and two years of probation was given on two counts of 2nd degree assault and dangerous weapon with intent to injure.
