Ever since she was crowned winner of Love Island 2018, Dani Dyer's life has changed forever. She left the villa with a ready made fan base and a new boyfriend in the shape of fellow contestant, Jack Fincham.

"When I left Love Island, my life completely changed," she tells us on her Cosmopolitan cover shoot. "I went into Love Island having pulled my last pint, and then 'BOOM'. Everything's just on me. It's crazy, I'm so grateful for it, but I never in a million years thought my life would change this much."

But being catapulted to fame overnight does come with its downsides. When rumours hit that she and Jack had split in December 2018 - only to get back together again - it's unsurprising that her dedicated followers had something to say about it, not all of which was positive.

"I've had messages calling me fake, or saying I only got to where I am because of my dad," Dani explains in the April issue of Cosmopolitan, out February 28. "Or articles saying [Jack and I are] going to split up. It hurts because it's not true. I'm 22 and this isn't a normal situation that I'm dealing with."
