directors branch. He argues that movies
which debut on streaming services or just have a short
theatrical run should qualify

already been criticized. Industry insiders cite the
success of the Alfonso Cuaron's
Netflix film, 'Roma.' The film swept the Oscars
for best foreign language
film, best cinematography
and best director. Netflix gave its own
response to Spielberg's
