JNU Row: Lawyers attacked twice in 48 hours

For the second time in 3 days, a group of lawyers at the Patiala House Court attacked Journalists and Media crew. All this took place while JNUSU President Kanhaiya Kumar was being produced in the court. The scuffle and the assault were not limited to journalists as even Kanhaiya was also heckled. Everything happened in front of the delhi police personnel who failed to do their duty of even protecting an accused. However, the Delhi Police Chief BS Bassi categorically refuted these claims and defended the cops. He went on to say that it was only an excited crowd and denied that anyone was physically assaulted. All that the Delhi Police has done is sent a summon to unidentified lawyers.
