Thick fog blanketed many areas in and around Delhi this morning with poor visibility hitting road traffic and delaying flights. Earlier today, departures and arrivals were on hold at the airport as the runway visibility dropped to around 75 meters. More than 130 trains were cancelled and 60 early morning flights delayed because of the fog. The meteorological department has predicted a partly cloudy sky and moderate to dense fog. Very light, isolated showers are also expected in the city today.
