Arun Jaitley defamation suit: Delhi High Court issues notice to Kejriwal

The Delhi High Court today issued notices to Arvind Kejriwal and 5 others in connection to the defamation suit filed by Arun Jaitley. It has asked the Delhi Chief Minister to respond within 3 weeks. The next hearing will be held on February 5. Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley had filed a civil defamation suit in the Delhi High Court against Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and five other AAP leaders for issuing allegedly false and defamatory statements against him and his family members. Jaitley has sought Rs 10 crore as damages from Kejriwal and other AAP leaders -- Kumar Vishwas, Ashutosh, Sanjay Singh, Raghav Chadha and Deepak Bajpayee -- for their alleged defamatory remarks.
