Congress threatens mass protest over Jan Lokpal

Congress leader Ajay Maken has has written a letter to chief minister Arvind Kejriwal pointing out the delay in enacting the Jan Lokpal Bill. He asserted that the party was preparing to raise the matter through protests and demonstrations as the Aam Aadmi Party had hard sold the promise during Delhi assembly elections in 2013 and 2015 that it would pass the Bill within one month after coming to power.
The COngress will hold a demonstration outside Delhi assembly on November 18 demanding that the Bill be passed in the winter session.
