In an exclusive interview with All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) President, Asaduddin Owaisi, he was asked to give his views in reply to the BJP leader, Eknath Khadse’s statement where he has equated MIM with Sanathan Sanstha, on the grounds that, the MIM party criticised the Supreme Court for sentencing 1993 Mumbai blast convict Yakub Memon to hang on the grounds that he was a Muslim.

Owaisi, in response, termed this statement as absurd and obnoxious and indicates that such a statement shows the support of BJP for an organisation which does not believe in electoral system of our nation and which says that loyalty should not be towards the nation but, towards the Hindu religion.
