The politics over Beef Ban in the state of J&K has intensified. The National Conference has asked the PDP government to bring in an ordinance that decriminalizes Cow Slaughter. The party said it was the State Government’s moral obligation to make amendments to the law on the Beef Ban issue as failure to do so would impinge on religious beliefs of the people. The PDP though hit back at the NC questioning why the party failed to change the law during its term in office.
