After the Mumbai police declared war on consensual couples. The Maharashtra government has come out in their support. Stating that the cops were not indulging in moral policing. Clearly the misplaced priorities of the Mumbai cops has got backing of the government. In the shocking incident adults who had checked into various hotels in Mumbai were shocked to find the police knocking on the doors of their rooms, more than 40 couples were rounded up and taken to the police station, where they were insulted and some of them, especially college students, were made to call their parents.
