Last rites of former President APJ Abdul Kalam will take place on Thursday in Rameswaram, his birth place in Tamil Nadu.

Mortal remains of former President A P J Abdul Kalam were flown to his hometown Rameswaram from Delhi in a special aircraft on Wednesday,

as people in the national capital bid an emotional adieu to the country's 'missile man'.
