To commemorate the 16th anniversary of the Kargil war, various celebrations kickstarted in various parts of Northern India on Sunday morning. The primary function took place at Dras, in the Kargil district of Jammu and Kashmir, where Army personnel paid a tribute to the martyrs on the occasion of Kargil Vijay Diwas.
