BCCI officials asked to promise no conflict of interest

All the BCCI board members and office bearers have been asked to sign an undertaking stating they are not in any conflict of interest. The board has been under fire for many potential conflicts of interest since the IPL began and had, until now, refused to acknowledge or correct the problem. But with the Supreme Court raising the point during the IPL spot fixing case in November 2014, and the committees appointed by the court coming down hard on the way the board functions, the BCCI is under pressure to clean its image.
