Woman burnt alive by cops in Uttar Pradesh Barabanki

Two Uttar Pradesh policemen were suspended on Monday after they allegedly tried to set a 40-year-old woman on fire after attempting to rape her.
The victim suffered serious burns and died Monday night.
She told Barabanki district magistrate Yogeshwar Ram Mishra that the incident took place when she went to the Kothi police station to enquire about her husband, who was detained by the police on Sunday.
