AAP moves resolution in Delhi Assembly seeking to impeach L-G Najeeb Jung
  • 5 years ago
Encouraged with many legal opinions and Monday’s Delhi High Court judgement in its favour, the Aap Aadmi Party (AAP) appears to be in no mood to resolve the tussle of power between the Centre and the Delhi government amicably for political reasons. The party on Monday said the fight to “liberate” the state from the “control” of the Centre “will continue for five years." Although the party said it wants cordial relations and not conflict with the Centre, it clarified at the same time that it won’t allow the latter to dictate terms. “This fight will continue till five years if the Centre does not give back the powers taken from us,” AAP National Convener and Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said while presenting a report card of his government that completed its 100 days in office.
