A day after a Delhi Police constable was caught on camera, attacking a woman for not paying a bribe, the media pressure has forced the police department to act against the individual, head constable Satish Chand has been sacked from the service & also arrested. But the big question is, what about the bigger rot of corruption in Delhi Police. Is it because they are not accountable to anyone? Is it time that Delhi govt to take over the capital's police?
