Massive tremors were felt on Saturday morning in Delhi, Lucknow, Kolkata and other parts of northern India. The epicentre of the earthquake is reported to be in Nepal. Nepal authorities stated that the earthquake measured 7.9 on Richter scale. The quake in Delhi measured 5 on Richter scale.
