The delay in his arrest has emboldened others too to join the anti-India bandwagon and indulge in open treachery. Mufti's failure to jail the traitor has even given ammo to Pakistan who is now blaming India for talking about the arrest of Pro-Pakistan agents. It is precisely for this reason that many are now of the opinion that not only has the Mufti govt allowed an atmosphere of unrest to creep in the valley, it is also doing great disservice to the mandate it has been given by the people of J&K.
