A brick kiln contractor has complained to the senior superintendent of police saying that the father of Sardhana MLA and Muzaffarnagar riot accused Sangeet Som had beaten him up brutally. The matter was transferred to SP (rural) MM Beg, who has instructed Sardhana police station in-charge to investigate the matter.

On Thursday morning, the victim, Dharmender Singh, 28, reached the SSP's office and showed bruises on his body to the official.
