In a breakthrough in the Ranaghat nun gang-rape case, the West Bengal Criminal Investigation Department(CID) arrested a suspect from Mumbai on Wednesday night. The suspect has been identified as Mohammed Salim Sheikh. According to reports, he has now been flown to Kolkata for questioning. The suspect is been interrogated by the CID in the case. The 71-year-old nun was raped by a gang of bandits in West Bengal's Nadia district earlier this month after which a CID probe was ordered into the incident.
