India's prime minister-elect Narendra Modi on Tuesday said that India would maintain good relations with its neighbour.

He made these remarks while addressing the central hall of the Indian parliament where he made his first visit since his sweeping election victory. He said that the BJP would not like too blindly follow the US. Modi said that allegations levelled against the BJP would be cleared at all costs.
