27 villages in Gujarat's Bharuch district have been put on alert as the Narmada dam over flows. Heavy rain fall in upper stream of Narmada dam, has increased water level in the reservoir. The Bharuch district collector has alerted 27 villages falling in down stream of Narmada dam. Evacuation process in several villages has already begun and 3 teams are at work. District administration has assigned evacuation task police department. Some 13 villages and 1000 people are evacuated.
