Bhojpuri to Be Added to 8th Schedule of Constitution - अन्तरराष्ट्रीय मातृ भाषा दिवस पर दिल्ली में भोजपुरी हमार मां-मनन, मंथन और मंतव्य कार्यक्रम का आयोजन कर विश्व भोजपुरी सम्मेलन ने भोजपुरी को आठवीं अनुससूची में शामिल करने की आवाज बुलंद की, उधर पीएम के संसदीय क्षेत्र वाराणसी में "अंजोर" कार्यक्रम का आयोजन कर भोजपुरी आंदोलन को तेज करने की मांग उठी।.
जबकि हिन्दी बचाओ मंच का तर्क है कि भोजपुरी एक बोली है।भोजपुरी के अलग होते ही हिन्दीभाषियों की संख्या कम हो जाएगी। इसको लेकर दशकों से चल रही लड़ाई अब जोर पकड़ने लगी है। इसी पर है ये कार्यक्रम भोजपुरी को आठवीं अनुसूची में जगह कब मिलेगी।

The government is considering inclusion of Bhojpuri languages in the Eighth Schedule of the Constitution and the step is likely to be approved in the Budget Session of Parliament.
