मामला सुप्रीम कोर्ट पहुँचा, कोर्ट ने आदेश दिया कि राजीव कुमार की तत्काल गिरफ्तारी नहीं होगी लेकिन उन्हें पूछताछ में सीबीआई को सहयोग करना पड़ेगा ।

Mamta Banerjee ended her 3-Day Dharna. After that she addressed the media. The Saradha chit fund scam had gone to inquire into the CBI's police commissioner's house, against Mamata Banerjee's arrest. The matter reached the Supreme Court, the court ordered that the immediate arrest of Rajiv Kumar would not be but he would have to cooperate with the CBI in the interrogation.
