Nirpreet kaur's father Nirmal Singh was killed in 1984 sikh riots case of Raj Nagar Delhi cantt. After 3 years she joined khalistan movement to to fight against Congress leaders Sajjan Kumar and Balwan Khokhar who were guiding mob then, married to a khalistani, later her husband went missing, mother got jailed, even she spent more than 8 years in Tihar but her statement as eye witness helped to send Sajjan kumar jail.
