Former IPS officer Kiran Bedi on Thursday was officially inducted into the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Thanking Prime Minister Narendra Modi for giving her the opportunity to join the party, Bedi said, "I am very grateful to PM for reposing his faith in me."

"I'm here today because of his (Modi's) inspirational leadership. His inspirational leadership has led to revival of hope, that's why a person like me who dedicated life to social service is here today," Bedi added.
