#Braveheartsbetrayed: Unbelievable villagers defend the goons

Two braveheart sisters in Rohtak, who took on three alleged molesters on board a moving Haryana Roadways bus, will be honoured for their bravery on Republic Day even as the incident triggered indignation and led the state government to suspend driver and conductor of the bus.


Praising the indomitable courage and bravery of the girls who fought the three youth who tried to "molest" them in the moving bus, chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar said the girls will be given cash awards on the occasion of Republic Day.

The father of the two sisters has, meanwhile, alleged that there was pressure from the panchayat that the girls should withdraw the complaint.

On their part, the residents of Kansla village in Rohtak district where the accused belong to have served an ultimatum on the district administration to release the three boys within 24 hours.

The residents told reporters that the three boys have been "falsely implicated". They claimed that it was not a case of alleged molestation but a dispute was over seats.
