PM Narendra Modi prays at Assi Ghat in Varanasi

On the second day of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Varanasi Tour, he cleaned up the Assi Ghat in the region.
He reached the place at 8:05 in the morning. Modi performed Ganga arti at the ghat and picked up the broom to clean the area, giving the message of 'Swacch Bharat' to localites. He also nominated 9 eminent personalities to come forward and join the campaign as he did in Delhi.
Narendra Modi nominated Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav, cricketer Suresh Raina & Mohammad Kaif, singer Kailash Kher, actor Manoj Tewari, Manu Sharma, Professor Devi Prasad Dwiwedi, comedian Raju Srivastav and University chancellor Swami Rambhadracharya for Swacch Bharat Abhiyan. He urged them to join the cause.
