Another ceasefire violation by Pakistan in Poonch

In one of the worst ceasefire violations by Pakistan, five villagers were killed and 34 injured on Monday in heavy mortar shelling and firing from across the International Border and Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Poonch sectors, triggering strong condemnation by India. On Monday evening, fresh ceasefire violations were reported along the LoC in Kerni belt of Poonch district, said a defence spokesperson.
