A Supreme Court lawyer in his 60s is in a critical condition in a city hospital after he was attacked with a knife by two Nigerians inside his office here Wednesday evening, police said.
Mohammed Sahid Hussain was attacked around 7.15 p.m. inside his office in Jahanpanah Colony in Hauz Rani area of south Delhi.
Hussain, a resident of Hauz Rani who practices in the Supreme Court, was admitted to the Jai Prakash Narayan Apex Trauma Centre of AIIMS.
At the time of the incident, Hussain was sitting alone in his office, police said."Both the accused fled the spot after committing the crime. A case has been registered and a hunt is on for the culprits," a police official said.
Hearing his screams, residents reached Hussain's office and found him in a pool of blood.
