A day after BJP president Amit Shah called up Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray in an attempt to pull back the 25-year-old alliance from the brink of collapse, senior state leaders of both the saffron parties on Tuesday sat down for talks and claimed that they were “firm” on going ahead with the alliance plan.
