In a city that is grappling with garbage crisis, Prime Minister Narendra Modi chose to highlight the garbage crisis in the country, which has also been plaguing the city for several years.
Addressing BJP party workers after arriving in the city for the first time as Prime Minister, Mr. Modi appealed to people of the country to give him 100 hours to clean the country. “Every week, I need just two hours to clean the country,” he said and touched upon cleansing the country as a symbol of patriotism.
