19- year old girl not allowed to attend school after marriage

A class XII girl has alleged that she was not allowed to continue her studies by her school after she got married as the authorities felt she would cast "immoral influence" on her fellow mates.
19-year-old Mehjabeen, a resident of Badli and student of of a government school here, has written to Delhi Lt governor Najeeb Jung seeking his help for re-admission.
In her letter, she said she had attended classes from April 1 to 15, after which she went on leave as her marriage was scheduled for May 17.
