Supreme Court Rules Out Disqualification of Tainted Politicians, Places Onus on Parliament

On the cases of tainted leaders, the Constitution Bench of the Supreme Court has ruled out the ban on the election of leaders on the basis of the charge sheet while deciding today. The generation of five judges has left its responsibility to the Parliament, the Supreme Court has said in its decision that either a tainted leader would be participating in the election or not, the matter of Parliament.
