Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav begins a 5-day tour to Netherlands on Monday to explore the possibility of investment in food technology sector in the State. He will also be seeking Holland’s expertise in laying cycling tracks in some prominent cities.

Mr. Yadav was slated to reach The Netherlands on Sunday, but he postponed his departure by a day.

An official spokesman said the Chief Minister will leave for Netherlands on September 1. His itinerary includes a visit to the biggest flower auction centre there and an interaction with office-bearers of The Netherlands Agro Food and Technology Centre in Amsterdam on Monday, according to a release issued here. Holland is famous world over for its agro-food technology.
